Kicking off Christmas early, Costa Coffee – who are responsible for 2,389 stores throughout the UK – have made their seasonal range available from October 1st, 2020.
Our personal favourite, the Gingerbread Cream Latte, makes a return, giving the classic latte a dash of gingerbread syrup and cream topping (and featuring an adorable mini gingerbread man on the top).
They’ve also bought in the Cinnamon Spiced Cappuccino. With its trio of blended spices, cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise, this drink is also supposed to provide the Christmas factor to those who don’t drink milk as it can be made vegan by switching to a milk alternative (which for Costa includes Coconut, Almond or Oat milk).
Following a petition from fans in 2016, the Black Forest Hot Chocolate was bound to return, a rich chocolate with cherry sauce drizzle and shimmery chocolate curls.
Also returning the Irish Velvet Cream Latte and Irish Velvet Cream Hot Chocolate. With ( non-alcoholic) flavourings of Irish Cream, this duo was apparently “hugely popular” with the UK public when they debuted last year.
Commercial Marketing Director for Costa Coffee, Eric Tavoukdjian said: “We know how much our customers love our seasonal drinks and the flavour combinations we offer at this time each year. With the festive season almost upon us, we are delighted to be able to offer a taste of familiarity through a collection of handcrafted drinks that we know our customers have been missing.”
